| Choudhary reviews problems of Safai Karamcharis | | | JAMMU NOV-24
Chairperson for National Commission for Safai Karamcharis Santosh Choudhary, currently on a visit to Jammu, today chaired a meeting of senior functionaries of five nationalized banks and discussed in detail the matters pertaining to the service conditions of safari karamcharis working in various banks and the amenities being provided to them by the management.
The bank representatives briefed the chairperson about various loan schemes being floated by the banks for the benefit and upliftment of this weaker section and downtrodden segment of the society.
Addressing the meeting Choudhary stressed upon the concerned heads of the banks to coordinate with various state government agencies and institutions and publicize schemes and ensure that due justice is done with the Safai Karamcharis in providing them the financial support.
The meeting was attended by K Raghuraman, Executive Director Punjab National Bank, Samir Saran General Manager State Bank of India, K N Suvarna General Manager General Manager Bank of Baroda, S R Birjar Zonal Manager Bank of India and S N Mishra Deputy General Manager Indian Overseas Bank.
