Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, June 28: Chief judicial magistrate (CJM), Kishtwar, Ashwani Sharma today sent porn CD main accused Tariq Qayoom Tak to 10 days police remand.
The porn CD scam got exposed Friday last, with police arresting Tariq from Anantnag in Kashmir.
A girl student of Tariq, who owned a coaching centre in the town here, was alleged to have performed in the CD, which was said to be in police possession.
He was today produced in the CJM's court. While police wanted his custody for 15 days, the judge sent him to 10 days police remand. No bail application had so far been moved by the accused who was arrested four days back.
Kishtwar Bar Association president condemned the incident and said the bar had not yet taken any decision to contest his case. Apprehending an attack on him by angry locals, police secretly took him to the court under heavy security cover. Meanwhile, police were hunting for a NHPC employee, who was alleged to be an associate of Tariq in the porn CD racket.
