Operationalize monitoring system to track files: CS | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, June 29:
Chief Secretary Madhav Lal has asked the administrative Secretaries to ensure early operationalization of file monitoring system. The process will help track disposal and records for easy reference, he said. Chairing a meeting of administrative Secretaries on Wednesday here, the Chief Secretary called for fast tracking human resource branches in the identified departments for profiling complete bio-data of State cadre officers. The move will help clear stuck up promotion proposals of officers in the identified departments, he maintained. The meeting discussed performance of Government schools and colleges in the State and observed that required staff strength must be maintained in the education institutions to smoothen academic activities. The Chief Secretary also directed Forest Secretary to ensure that sufficient quantity of timber is made available for construction of school buildings in the State. Madhav Lal also directed Secretary, Industries to submit a proposal under the cluster scheme for upgrading craft skills of artisans of Srinagar city. The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary, Agriculture Iqbal Khanday, Principal Secretary, Home B.R Sharma, Principal Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Suresh Kumar and other administrative Secretaries
