| Shiv Sainiks raid CADP; ransack future, record | | |

Shiv Sena activists led by its State President Anan Sharma today raided the office of Director Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CADP) here today and ransacked the future and records and took all the officers to task.
In a hand out the Shiv Sena has claimed that the raid was conducted against the non- availability of Rice, Sugar, Atta and Kerosene oil at the ration depots in the city. The Shiv Sainik’s disrupted the meeting convened by the Secretary CADP Department Khalid Habib and apprised the Secretary that BPL ration was being sold in black market by the officers as a result most of the ration depots in the city were without stocks.
They alleged that licences of 120 K. Oil dealers, who were caught red handed by SSP Jammu were cancelled in the city but Deputy Director Jamwal regularized all these after taking a handsome amount as bribe from the dealers. They apprised the Secretary that every ration bag of rice weights less by five kg and alleged that this was done by the mill owners in connivance with the departmental authorities and demanded that this multi-crore scandal should be thoroughly investigated.
Among others who took part in the raid included Kuldeep Luthra, Ranjit Singh Bali, Nishchary Sharma, Pawan Gupta, Sanjeev Kohli, Sushil Gupta and Ashok Pandey.
