| JKCA sits on JKPL final | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 29: It was a year ago on this day when two teams reached the final of the inaugural edition of the Jammu and Kashmir Premier League (JKPL) Twenty20 Tournament, organised by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA).
There was lot of enthusiasm among the teams playing in this Rs eight lakh prize money tournament. The winner was supposed to get Rs five lakh, while the looser to receive a cheque of Rs three lakh.
The two teams making it to the final are Krishen Chand Cricket Club (KCCC) and Gymkhana Cricket Club (GCC) but they have been kept waiting for a long year to take on each other for the title clash.
Hope, the JKCA realize their mistake of forgetting about an important event before announcing the second edition of the most popular event among the affiliated clubs i.e. JKPL
