| Jammu KAS interviewees be interviewed in Jammu | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 30: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee today demanded that the interview of the KAS candidates belonging to Jammu region should be held in Jammu, keeping in view the past practice and the avoidable inconvenience and financial burden to be faced by them.
Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee in a letter has sought the attention and intervention of Chief Minister in the matter, according to party spokesman, the decision to hold interviews of candidates belonging to Jammu region at Srinagar, would put the candidates to great inconvenience and financial burden in view of the peak tourism season and ongoing Shri Amar Nath Yatra.
This is also a departure from the past practice adopted by the Jammu Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC). The party demanded that the interview of KAS aspirants from Jammu should be held in Jammu, whenever convenient to the members of PSC.
