| Annual Trishul Bhait Yatra conducted in Bhaderwah | | | Early Times Report
BHADERWAH, JULY 01-The annual Trishul Baint Yatra of Mata Chandi, was conducted today in Bhaderwah, popularly known as unexplored heaven on earth.
The yatra which started from Doda town in the morning reached the temple of Goddess Chandi at village Chinote in the afternoon.
The Yatra was accorded rousing reception at various places enroute Bhaderwah.
At Bhaderwah, the yatra was received by various officers including Sub Divisional Magistrate, Bhaderwah, Mr S V Meena, Chief Executive Officer, Development Authority Bhaderwah, Mr Kalyan Singh, Additional SP Bhaderwah, Tehsildar Bhaderwah, SDPO and large number of locals.
The pilgrims amidst chanting of slogans of Mata Chandi had darshan of the deity in the temple.
After Trishul Bhaint ceremony and other religious rites the yatra arrived at Doda in the evening.
Elaborate arrangements of drinking water, electricity first-aid, fire and emergency services and security have been made by the local administration on the occasion
