JAMMU, July 1: Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj organized a one day convention on Future of Gen next Kashmiri Pandits.
R K Bhat, President - YAIKS presented the keynote address. In his address he informed about major burning issue of the Future of GeNext Kashmiri Pandits to the young Chief Minister and appealed him that the remaining components of 3000 employment needs to be taken up without any further delay, as on date only 1700 youth have joined their services in Valley out of PMs sanctioned 6000 jobs. The unfilled categories like SC, ST, OBC and ALC posts should be converted into open merit categories.
Even he said that 7 Years relaxation for over aged KP Youth, enhancement of relief amount in favour of migrants, one time compensation of Rs. 25 Lac in favour of over aged youth of the community as they have been ignored from the Government services since last two decades besides the present appointment orders.
Moreover the Apex Committee set up, which was constituted on 16.09.2009 for looking into the problems of KPs needs to be revamped as only two meeting, has been held on 23.09.2009 & 29.01.2010 sine its inception.
Bhat draws the attention of Chief Minister towards the miniscule minority of KP who have politically remained isolated for the last 22 years.
