| Atul made Jt Secy of Chess Federation | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 01: Former state champion and president of the All Jammu and Kashmir Chess Association, Atul Kumar Gupta has been made joint secretary of the All India Chess Federation in an election meeting held at Chennai yesterday.
Atul, who is Scale-1 manager with J&K Bank, was given the position in recognition to his efforts to promote the game in Jammu and Kashmir.
It is pertinent to mention here that state chess association is holding national and domestic competitions regularly so as to provide the upcoming players a chance to excel at the national and international level.
