| JU to organize Gulmarg visit for Cultural Secretaries | | | JAMMU NOV 24
Prof. Amitabh Mattoo, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, JU held a meeting with cultural secretaries of various Departments in the committee room of Adm. Block here today.
In the meeting all the cultural secretaries unanimously lauded the efforts of Prof. Amitabh Mattoo in promoting the cultural activities in the campus. Porf. Mattoo said that the new auditorium that is the biggest one in the northern India is the gift of the VC to the Jammuites. The Hon’ble VC also announced a visit to Gulmarg for the Cultural Secretaries of the University from 27 –30th of Dec, 2006. He also asked the Cultural Secretaries to be ready and keep their passport for cultural troupe to Pakistan under the Cultural Exchange Programme. These announcements of the VC were received by Cultural Secretaries with thunder applause. VC also gave assurance for proper office of the cultural council.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. P.S. Pathania, DSW, Prof. N.R. Sharma, Chairman, Campus Cultural Committee, Dr. Shohab Inayat Malik, Asstt. DSW and Ranjit Kalara.
