| State BJP launches ‘Sahyog Nidhi’ campaign | | |

JAMMU, July 1:
State BJP today launched Vishesh Sahyog Nidhi and Aajiwan Sahyog Nidhi campaign in the state with five donors from Jammu, each donating rupees one lakh through cheque at party headquarters at Jammu.
Speaking about the significance of this special campaign, Shamsher Singh Manhas said that in order to be active and pursue its goal of social ufliftment and healthy political ambience, it is essential that all units of the organization are constantly operational for which it is a must for the party to have four robust components i.e. Karyakarta (workers), Karyakram (programme), Karayalaya (office) and Kosh (fund), Karyakarta is the very foundation of the party. Programmes are organized to keep Karyakartas active. Programmes are implemented at all levels by party office. Funds, are needed to run the party office smoothly and pursue party programmes. He said that BJP has a large organizational setup throughout the country. Its organizational unit starts at the local ward level and process goes upto city, district, state and national levels. To keep all units of the organization constantly operational, some amount of money is needed, for which party collects donations.
Manhas said that under Vishesh Sehyog Nidhi “lifetime commitment” unique scheme, any body can make one time contribution of rupees one lakh. While under Aajiwan Sehyog Nidhi the donors can contribute rupees one thousand, rupees five thousand or rupees ten thousand annually. This contributed amount will be deposited in the bank as “fixed deposit”. The interest earned on it will be considered as annual contribution by donor and will be used to meet the day to day expenses of Mandals, Districts and State Office. He said the BJP stands committed towards bringing purity, transparency and accountability in public life and invites all its respectable members, supporters, well-wishers and friends to become “Vishesh Sahyog Nidhi ” members of the party,
