| EPTWS to hold election on July 24 | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 2: Evacuee Property Tenants Welfare Society (EPTWS) today declared the election for the posts of for the post of president, general secretary and treasure of the association will be held on July
24.
The association members said that retired principal secretary JK High Court Din Muhammad Sabunia is being nominated by the association as the election commissioner. Briefing about the election norms and candidature eligibilities, association declared that only those tenants who have sought membership by remitting Rs. 100 annual subscription for 2011 will be eligible to contest election.
They added that a formal notification has been issued on June 23. “Nomination papers for the post will be submitted to the Commissioner up to July 14 and scrutiny of the nominations will be done on July 15 with the date of withdrawal on July 19.
The election will be held at Modern Academy, Dalpatian Jammu from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. the counting of votes will start immediately after 1:00 p.m. and result be declared on the same day.
