Mangat lauds contribution of Private Health
Institutions in providing specialized health care

Minister for Health and Medical education, Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma has said that Doctor’s prime duty is service to the suffering humanity and they must render this service with smiling face. He was addressing at Annual Day Function of Vitasta Health Care Centre (Charitable Trust) Roop Nagar near here today.
He said that private Health Care Centres are supplementing the Government mission of providing host medicare facilities to the people of the state at their doorsteps. He said Vitasta Health Centre is among best health institutions of the state providing services of the specialized Surgeons/Doctors to the patients on nominal charges.
Responding to their demands, Mr. Sharma announced an ambulance for the Health Centre, out of his MLA constituency Development fund in next year. Regarding allotment of land for construction of Health Centre he said that matters would be taken up with the concerned Ministry and Chief Minister, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad for appropriate action. He also assured all possible assistance in upgrading latest infrastructure in the Health Centre.
Managing Director Vitasta Health Care Centre gave a resume of the progress achieved during the last three years by the centre. He said about 34,000 patients have been treated till date besides services like OPD, Hospitalization facilities, counseling, laboratory tests, ultra sound, X-ray, ECG Chemist Shop and service of highly qualificed doctors.
Mr. Sharma also attended a function organized by the Jain Sabha at Jain Nagar to see off Acharya Dr. Shiv Maniji who during his 4 month stay has spread the message of Ahinsia Parma Dharma. Lord Mahavir Jan Muni traveled over 40000 kms on foot all over the country and abroad and conducted 408 shiver deliver lectures and on Gagan & Darshan.
Spreaking on this occasion, Mr. Sharma said ahinsa-parona Dharma has great relevance in the present era of frustration and for attaining the mental peace and mutual understanding among the youth is imperative for achieving the goal of peace, property, and unity of the country.
