| NPSU protest continues second consecutive day | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 2: National Panthers Student Union (NPSU) held a demonstration on second consecutive day to oppose the move for closing the evening shift of the colleges in the city, here in GGM Science
College.
NPSU also burnt the effigy of the Chief Minister and protested against the delay in the appointment of the Vice Chancellor of Central University, Jammu.
Addressing the gathering, Leader NPSU, Sahil Choudhary said that it is very unfortunate that the state government is closing the evening colleges which proves the unserious attitude of the government towards the future of the students of the Jammu region.
He added that the students need more evening colleges but the government is closing the already present. He said that NPSU will fight nail and tooth for revocation of the order for the closure of the evening colleges and appealed the students to be united for their own future.
Other members present in the gathering included Ashutosh Sharma, Sunil Mandala, Atul Sharma, Manpreet Kour, Ravinder, Anita, Varsha, Sunil Singh, Rahil Sharm, Kamaldeep Singh, Rashi Dayal, Anamika Singh and besides other.
