| JKNPP stage protest against JMC,PDD | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, July 03: A protest demonstration was held by the locals of Krishna Nagar, Jammu at Cannel Road near irrigation Dept. under the banner of the JKNPP against the authorities of JMC and PDD dept. for the mismanagement of these Dept. they were protesting against the incidents of thefts last night in the said Mohalla.
The locals of the area gathered near the irrigation department, Canal Road, Jammu to demonstrate against JMC and PDD dept. they said that only by the mismanagement of the JMC and PDD department the theft was committed because the street lights of the said area were not working and the thieves took the benefit of darkness and committed the number of thefts in the Krishna Nagar Jammu. They shouted slogans against these Dept. and demanded a high level inquiry into the incident which took place at Krishna Nagar last night.
Sahil Choudhary (JKNPP Leader) who was leadin the protest demonstration, while addersing the gathering said that the authorties of JMC and PDD are always non-serious and are well known for their irresponsiblity towards their duties. He said that the responsible employees for the theft should be put behind the bars so that in future such incidents should not take place.
On the occasion Mr. Pushvinder Singh Manhas Vice President Young Panthers lambasted the NC-CONG led coalition govt. of the state for their apathetical attitude towards the Jammu region and alleged that the JMC and PDD departments works effectively only when secretariat is in Jammu the winter capital of the state but always go in deep slumber when secretariat moves to the Kashmir.
Others who were present on the occasion include Umesh Sharma, Kushal Sharma, Sidharth Salathia, Ankush, Sikander Kumar, Arun Gupta, Amit Jamwal, Sanjay Kumar, Gulshan Gupta, Anil, Ishant Sharma etc.
