| Prohibitory orders in some areas of Srinagar | | |
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir government has issued prohibitory orders in five police station areas of the city till the summer session of the state assembly concludes.
The city District Magistrate has prohibited assembling of general public within the jurisdiction of police stations Batamaloo, Shaeedgunj, Maisuma, Kothi Bagh and Ram Munshi Bagh in Srinagar city till the assembly session is over, an official spokesman said.
The order has been necessitated for smooth functioning of the ongoing assembly session and to maintain law and order, the spokesman added.
