KABUL, NOV 26
A suicide bomber today attacked a restaurant in southeasten Afghanistn, leaving seven Afghans dead and 20 injured, the provincial governor said.
The restaurant, located in Paktika province, was completely destroyed, said provincial governor Mohammad Akram Akhpelwak.
Akhpelwak said that the attacker was believed to be targeting an Afghan special forces commander and a district chief who were at the restaurant this morning and were among the 20 injured. |
