Extend all help to Amarnath pilgrims: AJHLA | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 4: All Jammu Hotels and Lodges Association (AJHLA) has appealed the local people to treat the Amarnath Yatris as their guests by extending them every help and support and to mitigate the hardships being experienced by them, here today. In a statement president AJHLA Inderjeet Khajuria said that all the member units of their association should remit 15 to 30 percent discount on room rents to the pilgrims checking in their hotels and lodges. AJHLA warned its member units of overcharging the customers and taking undue their advantage. Association has appealed traders in Jammu, particularly those connected with tourism and pilgrimage to offer special discount to the pilgrims. The traditionally religious minded and hospitable people of Jammu should throw warmest hospitality to the stranded Pilgrims, without succumbing to the temptation to fleece them. The pilgrims should carry very healthy impression of the generosity and hospitality of the people of Jammu, Kahjuria has added. He has also appealed to the philanthropist voluntary organisations to set up more free langars to serve food to the stranded pilgrims.
