Ensure proper infrastructure for Sunderbani Degree college | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 4: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) appealed the government to meet the demands of newly sanctioned Degree College Sunderbani to benefit the students from the current academic session here today. JKPCC General Secretary, MLC Ravinder Sharma said that government should provide the requirements to the students for their well being. He said that the state government should explore the possibility to start class work this year to benefit a large number of poor students to pursue their college education. Sharma demanded the immediate identification of suitable land and release of adequate funds to start the construction work for the college. He added that great resentment could be seen in Nowshera tehsil due to the non-starting of the construction work of the college building even after four years of its sanction. He said that this is affecting the students a lot due to the failure of the concerned authorities on this front. JKPCC urged the Chief Minister and the Minister for Higher Education to personally look into the reasons for the delay as the government has twice assured them in the J&K Legislative Council to start the work soon but nothing has happened so far.
