EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, July 4: Panun Kashmir (PK) organized a Youth Workshop today at
Jammu. The workshop was attended by a number of youth activists of the organisation along with the office bearers of Panun Kashmir.

Speaking on the occasion, Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, president, PK while
making his presentation on the ideological and organisational issues said that the pandit community needs its youth to come forward to take up the challenges of future.
He said that in order to keep the issues of concern alive, bigger sacrifices needed to be made. Panun Kashmir has not allowed any dilution of its core issues despite all odds and obstacles all these two decades of struggle in exile.
Political education and training have a prime place in our life and Panun Kashmir is determined to pass on its legacy to the younger generations. Kashmir belongs to Kashmiri Pandits because they are the indigenous people of Kashmir having a written history of more than five thousand years old.
Prof M L Raina, Chairman, PAC said that the Kashmiri Pandit community has a natural and first right over the territory of Kashmir.
The genocide, ethnic cleansing and mass exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits are documented history which has been taken note and cognizance of various courts of law, tribunals, commissions, international institutions and opinion makers.
Virender Raina, National Spokesperson-PK said that the modern day world has rejected terrorism and extremism as a means to settle issues.
The Kashmiri Pandits will not live on the ‘mercy or goodwill’ of the majority community in the valley of Kashmir . The Pandits have to be determined against any mischief and conspiracy that “leads the community to any subjugation and servitude in Kashmir again”.
A youth convention would be held in the month of September in which a large number of youth would participate from all over the country.
