| Dr Mir elevated as Chief Warden | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, July 5 (KNS): Dr Anaitulah Mir has been elevated to the rank of Chief Warden Civil Defence Baramulla in the honorary capacity.
The order to this effect was issued under no: 242 of 2011 dated 22-6-2011 of HQ civil defence\homeguards\auxpolice.
Talking to KNS chief warden said, “We are expanding civil defence volunteer services to whole district with an objective to prepare youth of this district as how to respond to any man-made or natural disaster.”
“Our objective is to save life, minimize damage to property, to keep continuity of production and keep the morals of people high,” he said.
He said that objective of civil defence was to save lives of youth from drug abuse and channelise their energy in positive direction.
