| BJP youth wing to organise “Chalo Delhi” protest | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, July 5: The youth wing of BJP has decided to take out a rally and gherao the Parliament in New Delhi on August 9, to protest against the alleged corruption by the Congress-led UPA government.
“We have given a call of “Chalo Delhi” to our members of youth wing. Lakhs of youth will converge at Ramlila maidan on August 9 and will march to gherao the Parliament,” BJP youth wing state president Munish Sharma and state secretary Dinkar Gupta told reporters at Udhampur after meeting with party workers .
The programme is against the most corrupt government that the country has got under Prime Minister Manmohan Singh,” he said.
“The 2G scam, Commonwealth Games scam, S-band deal between ISRO and Devas and Adarsh Society scam happened under the nose of Manmohan Singh. Yet, he is not ready to take responsibilities of what has been done by his government,” Thakur said.
He alleged that the government was now using force against those who are trying to fight corruption. “They used brutal police force against Baba Ramdev and his supporters who were silently protesting."He added that thousands of workers will participate from state and a mobilization campaign of party is on in this regard. |
