| Ex-Director joins PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, 5 JULY 2011: Former Director of the Geological Survey of India, H S Sodhi today joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the presence of senior party leaders.
Sodhi, while joining PDP, expressed faith in the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti. He said that Mufti Mohammad Sayeed as Chief Minister of the state has set an example of the good governance. He said that the tenure of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has been rightly considered as golden era in the political history of Jammu and Kashmir because problems of the every sections of the society were addressed during that period.
Veteran leader Sardar Rangil Singh, former Rajya Sabha member Trilok Singh Bajwa, Thakur Balbir Singh, Ved Mahajan, Daman Bhasin, Surjeet Kour and others welcomed Sodhi in the party fold. They said that with the joining Sodhi, party would be strengthened in Jammu region.
