| BJP to launch anti-corruption campaign in the state | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 5: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will launch a number of programmes under different modes in the entire state against the issue of corruption, black-money and price-rise. State President Shamsher Singh Manhas said that the party has decided to take up these programmes more vigorously in the coming days and our party activists at the lowest level are being acquired with the accurate information regarding these issues so that they reach the masses and make them understand the harms for a common citizen. He said that the real strength of our party lies in the commitment of our cadre and being the prabhari, we must recognize the importance of every activist, irrespective of his level of responsibility and his work, must get due respect and appreciation. He said that besides other engagements, we have also decided to setup permanent party offices in all the districts so that we are in a position to be more close to our cadres as well as the general public. National Executive Member Dr. Nirmal Singh said that we should work in such a manner that we become role models for them. He said that division of work at the lowest level is the key to success and we should keep this mantra in mind while formulating any strategy aimed at strengthening the party. He also put forth suggestions to make the ongoing programmes more effective. Earlier, the meeting was briefed about the recently organized protests and public awareness meetings on the issue of corruption, black-money and price-rise by the respective district prabharis. Among those who were present in the meeting included, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Chander Prakash Ganga, Suresh Jamwal, Pawan Gupta, Satish Sharma, Sat Sharma (C.A), Usha Choudhary, Shyam Choudhary, Sukhnandan Kumar, Surinder Sharma and others.
