| Machail Yatra, Independence Day arrangements reviewed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KISHTWAR, July 5:
To review the arrangements for the forthcoming Machail Yatra 2011 to the Sapphire valley Padder and Independence Day celebrations 2011, District Development Commissioner Kishtwar M H Malik today convened a meeting of the District and Sectoral officers at D.C office Kishtwar.
In the meeting it was revealed that the Machail Yatra 2011 shall commences from 1st of August 2011 while as the holy Chari Mubarak will reach Kishtwar on 17th of July and depart from Kishtwar to Padder on 18th of July 2011.In the meeting various issues were discussed deliberately which mainly include security, medicare , accommodation of yatries, construction of temporary shelters enroute to the holy shrine Machail, drinking water facility besides other were also discussed for the smooth and peaceful conduct of the annual yatra.
In another meeting, arrangements for the celebration of Independence Day 2011 were also reviewed in which it was revealed that the main function will be organized in Parade Ground Kishtwar where VIP/VVIP will hoist the Tricolor and took the salute of the march past contingents of JKP, CRPF, NCC , College and School Children besides others. A colorful cultural programme will also be organized on the occasion.
DDC Kishtwar impressed upon the officers to put in place all the necessary arrangements well in time and work in a coordinated manner for the smooth, enthusiastic and peaceful celebrations of the National Festival. Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar G. N. Balwan, Chief Planning Officer Kishtwar Y.P Bhagat and Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. B. S. Tutti besides all the other District and Sectoral Officers of the District Administration were present in the meeting
