Lt Gen Deepak Kapoor, AVSM, SM, VSM, ADC, GOC-in-C Northern Command today flagged off a Run for Fun for children at Udhampur military station. The run was organized to promote health awareness amongst children and to highlight importance of adopting a healthy life style. The run was conducted for the children of different age group.
Kirti Kapoor, President Army Welfare Association, Northern Command distributed the prizes to the winners on this occasion. GOC-in-C, Northern Command appreciated the enthusiasm of the children and hoped that the event will motivate the children towards keeping themselves fit when they grew up, said a PIB (Defence Wing) release. |
