Three matches were held on the second day of the ongoing Faridiya Cricket Cup being played at Chowgan Ground here.
In the first match of the day, Friends Kishtwar beat Bera Batta XI.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first Bera Batta XI set a target of 137 for Friends Kishtwar which never looked a difficult task to chase down for Friends Kishtwar as it achieved the target in eighteenth over for the loss of only five wickets in the process.
Nowshad was declared the man of the match for his brilliant performance with ball picking up 3 main wickets for his side in his four over spell.
While in the second match, Pochal Kishtwar trounced Royal Challenger Begana (RCB) in a nail biting finish to enter the next round.
The match was reduced to 15-overs a side due to bad weather conditions.
Batting first Pochal Kishtwar set a target of 142 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their allotted fifteen overs. While chasing RCB manages to score 134 runs felling eight runs short of the target. Manzoor was declared Man of the Match for his scintillating knock of 42 runs.
In the last match of the day, Dolphin XI beat Youngsters XI.
Chasing the target of 138 runs, Youngsters get bundle out for meagre 78 runs felling 60 runs short of the target. Naresh was declared Man of the Match for his 4 wickets haul.
