| Udaan takes 14 children into fold | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, July 05: Sabiha Hasnain, chairperson, Family Welfare Organisation, 15 Corps visited ‘Udaan’ a school for special children established by Thunderbolts Artillery Brigade as part of VAJR Division on 03 July 2011.
The school founded in Apr 2010 in Kupwara District has taken in 14 special children under its fold and the number is steadily growing.
The school provides training, education and a caring environment to students with developmental disabilities. Udaan has been a huge step towards winning hearts and minds of the local populace to project Army in the spirit of Sadhbhavana.
The School is unique as it is the only School for special children in entire North Kashmir. The visit by the dignitary was a source of great inspiration and joy for the children, parents and staff.
