| Man's death triggers scuffle between family members at GMCH | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU,July 5: After a man was declared brought dead by doctors at the GMC hospital (GMCH) here, a clash erupted between his widow and other family members.
Police sources said Paramjit Singh of Rehari was shifted by his family members to the GMCH after he complained of pain in the stomach.
But when the doctors said he had already died, heated exchanges erupted between Paramjit's widow and other family members.
While the woman alleged that he was murdered by his family, the latter, in a counter allegation, said he was poisoned to death by her.
Police, however, took both sides to the police station to find out the truth.
Post-mortem was later conducted on the body and it was handed over to the family for last rites.
Police had registered a case in this connection.
