| 5th State Rugby tourney starts tomorrow | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, July 06: Organised by Jammu and Kashmir Rugby Association, the 5th Swarn Sagar State Rugby Seven’s Tournament shall take place at Bakshi Stadium, here from July eight.
In this four-day event, 45 teams in four categories of both male and females shall complete for the top honours.
The participating teams included those from Srinagar, Jammu, Udhampur, Budgam, Pulwama, Ganderbal, Shopian, Anantnag Kulgam and J&K Police,” informed organizing secretary, Mohd Iqbal.
This tournament is being sponsored by Swarn Sagar Trade India Ltd.
Jammu team named
JA MMU: Meanwhile, district Jammu teams were selected in two age groups of under-14 and under-16 for participation in the State Rugby Tournament. The team named after a four-day camp conducted at Army School Sunjwan here by the Jammu district president of the Association, Jathadare Manmohan Singh, informed secretary, Ravinder Singh.
