| BJP celebrates 111th birth anniversary of Jana Sangh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 6: Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) today celebrated 111th birth anniversary of Jana Sangh ideologue Dr. Shyam Prasad Mookerjee, a nationalist leader at Ved Mandir here today.
BJP state president Shamsher Singh Manhas told about the life history of Dr. Moojerjee said that the great nationalist leader was an institution in himself. He further said that we should adopt the principles and ideology of Dr. Mookerjee in our life and work united to defeat all such forces which are working against the nation’s interests in the state.
State General Secretary Sat Sharma also stated that he was a symbol of a nationalism who had earned respect among the masses and became a role model for the generations to come.
On the occasion, Chairman of Ved Mandir Management Committee Amar Chand Gupta said that the main quality of we Indians is, to not forget our elders and all such patriotic citizens who make sacrifices for the supreme cause.
He further said that leaders like Dr. Mookerjee need no introduction as they are in the mind and heart of every Indian. The prominent among those who were present on the occasion are Shiv Kumar Gupta, Bansi Lal Bharti, Amarnath Gupta, Lalit Moza, Balbir Ram, Vikram Randhawa, Jaideep Sharma, Munish Sharma, Aseem Gupta, Rajinder Sharma, Karan Singh and besides other.
