| RBBA holds meeting, rejects Lucky draw scheme | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 6:Raghunath Bazar Businessmen Association (RBBA) held its Executive Committee meeting here to discuss the progress of various developments of the Bazaar.
The meeting, convened under the chairmanship of President RBBA Surinder Mahajan, was attended by nearly hundred members where the matter of Lucky Draw coupon scheme for "Nano Car" came up for discussion. It was out rightly rejected by members with one voice as no scheme for customers can be launched without the approval of President and executive body.
The President regretted that few people having some vested interests in the scheme want to damage the image of RBBA. He cautioned that no such scheme is being launched by the President of the association (RBBA). Any body dealing with this shall be responsible for his own act.
The Executive Committee thanked the President for taking pain in getting the Bazaar developed on modern lines and organization functions to upkeep the reputation of the Bazaar. They also thanked the Chief Minister and the district administration for making all out efforts in implementing the development and beautification project of Raghunath Bazaar.
