JAMMU, July 6: On the third day of the ongoing Faridiya Cricket Cup, Warrior XI beat New Star Bandrana (NSB) while Malva XI trounced Bonzawa XI. The matches were played at Chowgan Ground Kishtwar.
After winning the toss and batting first Warrior XI set a target of 154 runs in their allotted twenty overs. Manmeet was the highest run getter for his side with 61 runs in just 48 balls. While chasing NSB never look comfortable and got bundled out for just 60 runs felling 94 runs short of target.
Manmeet was declared man of the match for his brilliant knock of 61 runs.
While in another match of the day Malva XI trounced Bonzawa XI in a low scoring game. Batting first Malva XI scored 99 runs which look too big for the Banzawa XI getting bundle out for just 55 runs. Sajad was declared man of the match for picking 3 important wickets for his side.
By winning their respective matches, both these teams moved to the next round of the tournament
