| All J&K Mahasha Sadar Sabha celebrates ‘Foundation day’ | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 6: The 73th “Foundation Day of All J&K Mahasha Sadar Sabha which came into existence in 1938 was celebrated with gaiety on July 6, followed by a Preeti Bhoj at head office, Dogra Hall, Jammu to maintain cordial social relations, brother-hood and to remove the differences within the community.
The said function was organized by All J&K Mahasha Sadar Sabha headed by Rattan Chand Krotra (Retd. S.P.) as its President.
Mahasha Veer Chand, Ex- MLC Chairman, Shri Guru Nabha Dass Ji Trust was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
N D Rajwal, General Secretary, Trust and Bansi Lal Bharti, Chairman Election Board while speaking on the occasion threw light on the contribution extended by the predecessors of the Sabha.
Mahasha Veer Chand, Ex. M LC, Chairman Shri Guru Nabha Dass Ji Trust while Speaking on the occasion appealed to the Government for sanctioning sufficient funds for the construction of hostel for the poor students belonging to scheduled caste communities over the building of Shri Guru Nabha Dass Ji Community Hall as already agreed to. He also stressed on the community members for maintaining unity and avoid expensive social activities.
Those who spoke on this occasion included Mahesh Dardi, Ex President, Punjab Chand ( Retd. Deputy Secretary) Chief Convener (MSS), S D Manyal, Gian Chand, A N Bhogal (Retd. ALC), Satya Rajwal, Anant Ram Dharai (All Vice Presidents of the Sabha).
