KISHTWAR, July 6 : After the unearthing of a porn CD scam in Kishtwar, the youth of Doda have called upon the authorities concerned to probe into one such scam in the town and book the culprit. In the Doda porn CD scam, a youth, whose father was a retired government officer-turned-politician, was alleged to be the main accused. The girl too belonged to an influential family of Doda, according to sources.
The CD was alleged to be of 2min 9 sec duration, the sources added.Sources said though police had laid hands on the CD and identified the accused, the matter was closed allegedly at the instance of a senior police officer who that time headed Doda district.
After the Kishtwar sex racklet expose, the local youth were now hopeful that Doda police would also expose the accused and book him under law.Imitiyaz Ahmad, a Doda youth, said he was hopeful that police would book the accused who roamed freely.He hoped that local Jamia Masjid imam would play a positive role in it. |
