| AS Club, City Blues in semis of Molvi Cricket | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, July 7: Amar Singh Cricket Club and City Blues today moved into the semifinals of the ongoing Molvi Masood Cricket Tournament at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, here.
In the first quarterfinal, Amar Singh Club defeated United Cricket Club by two wickets. It was due to superb knocks from siblings of Parveez Rasool and Asif Rasool that guided Amar Singh Club to win. Parveez Rasool hit a magnificent ton.
Meanwhile, in another quarterfinal of the day, City Blues defeated Nigeen Cricket Club. Earlier, Nigeen Club won the toss and decided to bat first. They scored 222 runs in the allotted 40 overs, which City Blues chased in 32 overs. Yaqoob hit 49 runs for City Blues.
