| Mankotia blames governmet for ignoring Udhampur | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur, July 7: Balwant Singh Mankotia State President & MLA Udhampur has blamed the State Govt. for ignoring Majalta, Chenani, Latti (Udhampur), Marmat (Doda District), Katra (Reasi Distt.), Pogal area of Ramban District while distributing New Degree College in the State.
This was stated by Mankotia while addressing a press conference at his official residence at Udhampur on Thursday.
He said that in this regard number of deputation met him during his two day tour programme in earstwhile Doda District on July 5 and 6.
Mankotia said that there is a strong resentment among the people of these district that State Govt. has only obliged their minister & party workers while ignoring all norms & demands of the needy people.
Mankotia warned the state govt. that if these area’s will not considered for opening of new degree colleges at the earliest than panthers party will launch a strong agitation against the state Govt.
Mankotia also demanded for creation of new block at Jaganoo & Tikri of District Udhampur. He said that this is a long pending demand of the people of the area which needs immediate attention of the state government while creating new adminstative units in the state.
Mankotia demanded for the development of SHARBA DHAR a famous religions and historical place in Ramban District as tourist place. He urged the tourism minister to take up this area for development under tourism sector.
