| SRS team visits Sudh Mahadev, demands upgradation of tourist facilities | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 7:
A team of Shri Ram Sena (SRS) Jammu Kashmir visited Mantalai, Sudh Mahadev and Gouri Kund in district Udhampur.
The team headed by Rajiv Mahajan, President of Ram Sena has observed that Mantalai, Sudh Mahadev and Gouri Kund are very important and historical places.
He said that those pilgrims visiting the Holy place of Amarnath should pay their visit either before or after the completion of the Holy Amarnath Pilgrimage which can give better result to the pilgrimage.
Mahajan said that the original Trishul of Lord Shiva is still lying in the Holy temple at Sudh Mahadev, where Lord Shiva used to worship, the inhabitants of this area of Mantalai, Sudh Mahadev also met the team of Ram Sena, and narrated the history of this ancient place.
He has appealed to the State government to develop the tourist infrastructure at this historical place, in the interest of the pilgrims of Amarnath in general and also in the interest of the tourists in particular.
