Adbi Kunj organises Prose-Writing competition | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 7: As part of the regular literary meet, Adbi Kunj today organised a special meeting on Prose-Writing in which number of prominent writers took part. The event was presided over by a well known, writer and poetess of Hindi and Kashmiri language, Santosh Nadan, while K.K. Shakir a known multilingual poet and writer was special guest on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, president of Adbi Kunj Sham Talib, gave details about the monthly Tarhi-Mushaira-Meets in various languages. He disclosed that the next Tarhi Mushaira will be organized in Punjabi. Today number of writers presented their work which include a Hindi write up (Bhookh) presented by Dr. K.L. Kachroo.The write up biased on the various colours of desire, a Hindi short story Lutera, by K.L. Dewana about the multifaces of human beings. Another Hindi short story– Sangtrash–was presented by Sharda Sahni, in the story the writer showed the inner feeling of a Sangtrash. A Punjabi Journey–write up–Amar-Nath- Ki- Yatra – was presented by Resham Kour and an Urdu short story Taswir- Ka- Qaidi, was read Sham Talib, about the inner struggle of a writer, with his shadow of his past. A multilingual poetic round up was also held, in which the poets recited their different kalam in various languages were, included–Ghazals–Poems, Douhe, Geet-Bhajans and classical poetic satirical (Sidnian). Those who took part in this session included Santosh Nadan, Sharda Sahni, Resham Kour, Chanchal Dogra, Com. Jaswant Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Dr. Bharat Bhushan Gupta, Dr. K.L. Kachroo, Rajeev Kumar, K.L. Dewana, Ved Upal Ved, Rajinder Kumar, K.K. Shakir and Sham Talib.The meet came to end with the vote of thanks presented by Com. Jaswant Singh, Chief organizer of Adbi Kunj J&K Jammu.
