| 4 held for selling spurious cement in ACC bags | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 7 : Four persons were today arrested by Domana police for allegedly selling spurious cement in the bags of ACC, a reputed cement manufacturer in the country. The accused included Rahul Sharma of Gharota, Nirmal Singh of Digiana, Mangal Yadav of Orisa and Subash Chander of Sunderbani.
Acting on a complaint, a Domana police party raided the premises of Shiva Traders at Bantalab and found that sub-standard cement was being mixed with ACC cement and then loaded in ACC bags, police sources said.
Police seized 104 supurious cement bags, 94 empty ACC bags and 207 filled ACC bags from the premises, besides arresting the accused, the sources added. Police had registered a case in this connection.
