| Little Flower celebrates Annual Day | | | JAMMU | NOV 26 Little Flower Higher Secondary School celebrated its 30th Annual Day with great fervour in its school premises. Prof. Veena Rajput, Secretary, J&K Board of School Education was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Students presented the variety of colorful cultural items including folk dances to commemorate the day. Meera Soni, Principal, Little Flower School presented the annual report and highlighted the achievements of this session. She said that school is doing its utmost for imparting academic as well as value education and improving the quality of education by developing new attitudes that focus on leadership, team work, cooperation and accountability. The school will continue in its endeavor to encourage, motivate and strive Prof. Veena Rajput, in her address appreciated the school management for consistent efforts towards the academics and other extra curricular activities. Earlier, she along with Principal and Chairman of the school lighted the inaugural lamp. The items presented include Vandana, Welcome Song, Dandiya, Rajasthani, Dogri and Kashmiri dances. Some other attractions were ‘Nehru Ji Ka Sapna’ depicting Nehruji’s dream for a prosperous India going astray. Another item was on Gandhiji on the song ‘Bande Mein Tha Dum’ highlighting Gandhiji’s principles. The highlight of the programme was a train journey signifying national integration and unity in diversity. The Bhangra by the senior students left everyone spell bound with its thundering performance. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by the Vice Principal.
