| 3 days annual Sarthal Yatra begins in Kishtwar. | | Impressive Shoba Yatra taken out. | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu July 8:- Three days annual yatra of Mata Ashta Dash Bhuja" i.e. Goddess with eighteen arms commonly known as Sarthal Devi Mata beings in Kishtwar District with impressive shoba yatra were taken out at District headquarter Kishtwar. Thousands of devotees from different parts of Kishtwar District assembled at Gohri Shanker Mandir Sarkoot on the outskirt of Kishtwar town since early morning to participate in pray and havan. Sarthal Devi Management under the leadership of its Vice Chairman Thakur Jughal Bhandari along with District Administration Kishtwar has made elaborated arrangements for today’s Shoba Yatra , which passes through Shaheedi Road Kishtwar and cumulates at Bus stand Kishtwar from where large number people started onwards journey through buses and sumo. Local peoples at various places offered water to the devotees. The yatra will reach Sarthal Devi temple by today’s evening itself, where in the morning and evening special pujja will be performed and on Sunday, the yatries will start returning back to their homes. Kishtwar police had also made elaborated security arrangements to check any untoward incident.
