Sumji rearrested

EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, July 8: Police rearrested General Secretary of Tahreek-e-Hurriyat, Ghulam Nabi Sumji on Thursday. He has been lodged in Police Station Rajbagh.
Sumji had been arrested during last year’s summer uprising. According to a spokesperson of TeH Sumji’s daughter is suffering with cancer and is waiting for her father’s release desperately.
Meanwhile, senior leader of Hurriyat (G) Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai has been sent to judicial remand to sub jail Kupwara while Hurriyat (G) leader, Imtiyaz Hyder who is lodged in Central Jail Srinagar was sent to Bone and Joints Hospital Barzulla after he complained of backache.
Another Hurriyat (G) activist Sheikh Altaf who had been released on March 11 after 5-years was rearrested on May 4, the spokesman said. (KNS)
