| Shami Shair is new Dir DD Srinagar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, July 8:
Shami Shair, senior producer, Friday took over charge of interim Director Doordarshan Srinagar relieving Dr. Rafiq Masoodi.
Shair was nominated unanimously by DD authorities as an interim till a new director would be reinstated formally. Dr Masoodi, who was promoted as the Deputy Director General Doordarshan North on April 25, took the charge in Delhi.
The interim director was chosen on the basis of her experience and qualification. (KNS)
