Azad visits govt dental college , interacts with students, staff | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu , July 8:- Union minister for health and family welfare, Ghulam Nabi Azad today paid a surprise visit to Indira Gandhi Government Dental College and Hospital Jammu, during his visit Azad inspected the boys and Girls Hostel of the college. He also visited the Administrative- cum- Academic block of the college, office and central library. He also interacted with the students of the students of the institution. The students were satisfied after the college has been given permission for admitting BDS students during the current session and recognition of the previous batches of the college by the Union Health Minister. The students thanked Azad for his kind gesture. He also interacted with the patients visiting the hospital and enquired about their health and the facilities being provided in the hospital. He was satisfied with the working of the institution after interacting with patients, doctors and BDS students. Union minister for health and family welfare was very particular about the up keep of greenery around the institution. Thereafter he inspected the ongoing works of Government Dental hospital phase- II which is being constructed by the JKPCC Ltd.with an approximate cost of Rs. 35 crores. Dr. Mohan Singh, Medical superintendent, Government Dental hospital ( Indira Gandhi Govt. Dental College) Jammu alongwith others staff members accompanied the Union Health Minister during his visit to various areas of the institution.
