| Power shut down | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 8: In order to carryout periodical/preventive maintenance and removal of hot spots/weak spots in the yards of 220/132 KV Grid Station Gladni, the power supply to part of Old Jammu City, Gandhinagar, Trikutanagar, Channi HImmat, areas being fed from Gangyal, Miransahib, Sidhra station etc and twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch shall remain affected on July 10from 6 a m to 9 a m.
Meanwhile to complete the erection works of 66 KV SF-6 breakers on the 66 KV side of transformer T-2 and to replace the required jumpers/droppers of the same bay, the shutdown of the complete 132/66 KV Grid Station is allowed on July 11from 8 a m to 11 a m.
The area affected due to shut down shall be Kathua town, Hatli village, Nagri, Palli, Barnoti and Nanan village.
According to Superintending Engineer, Electric Maintenance & RE Circle, Kathua, the said shut down is subject to fair weather condition.
