JAMMU, July 8: As per an order issued here by District Magistrate (DM), Jammu, Sanjeev Verma, no event involving sizeable gathering, whether cultural or political, shall take place in an open space or in confined locations including auditorium, halls etc without prior permission of the district administration.
This decision has been taken to avoid any to untoward incident, violence, ruckus, traffic congestion, security implication and law & order problem.
In future, all such events/gathering are deemed to be illegal, which take place without prior permission. The police shall take cognizance and initiate action under law.
