| MLA Gupta distributes cheques among beneficiaries of B.S.U.P | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, July 08: Chaman Lal Gupta has distributed the cheques worth Rs. 20 lac to the needy persons of Jammu west Constituency covered under B.S.U.P Scheme.
This basic service for urban poor scheme have been launched for the upliftment of urban poor and providing shelter to the jhugi-jhopri dewellers of the city.
In Jammu West about 150 persons having land and State Subjects have been identified.
Each person will get Rs. 2.75 lacs for shelter in three installments.
Today Rs. 20 lacs cheques were given to the identified persons for 2nd installments who completed the plinth area and up to construction of walls. Second is given for the completion of lantern and the last one is for the plaster and final touches to the house raised.
