| State BJYM activists to join crusade for August 9 “Sansad Gherao” | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, July 08: Thousands of activists of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) will join the Morcha’s scheduled August 9 “Sansad Gherao” rally under “Chalo Delhi” slogan alongwith other morcha activists from across the country over the issue of corruption.
The activists will assemble at historic Ramleela Ground of New Delhi and be part of the two lakh morcha activists drawn from all the states of the country who will march towards Parliament House under the leadership of Member Parliament & BJYM national president Anurag Thakur.
This was disclosed by BJYM state president Munish Sharma while addressing a press conference here today.
Munish Sharma said that one scam after the other involving corruption to the tune of lakhs of crores or rupees have shocked the whole nation. With each passing day, new scams are getting unearthed having active involvement of the cabinet ministers, MPs and leaders of the ruling Congress-led UPA.
BJYM at the national level has chalked out a series of programmes to expose the UPA for its involvement in record breaking corruption cases and reach the masses to bring the real face of the ruling dispensation before them.
BJYM has given a call to its activists across the country to reach New Delhi to join the scheduled “ Sansad Gherao” rally which is being organized against the corruption in the country and the role of Congress in particular to shield the corrupt elements in the UPA.
He said Manmohan Singh, who claims to be the honest Prime Minister, should stop taking dictations from UPA Chairperson and use his authority to punish the corrupt ministers as he owes an explanation to the crores of tax payers of the country.
Munish Sharma said that we have a very clear stand that the sentiment of every citizen should be honoured and today 125 crore Indians are convinced that the UPA has become the mother of corruption in the country.
Hence, it becomes our duty towards our motherland too that we come forward and expose the corrupt faces who have been looting the hard earned Indian money. He said that our morcha, alongwith BJP, has been regularly organizing protests, holding massive dharnas and taking out rallies over the issue of corruption and will not allow the Congress to suppress the voice of the masses. He further added that corruption is equally rampant in J&K, which is being ruled by Congress supported coalition and has achieved the distinction of being 2nd most corrupt State in the Country. He said that the youth of the state are disappointed by by increasing number of corrupt mal-practices in job selection, particularly when the state is being ruled by a youth Chief Minister.
He appealed the youth of the state to join the BJYM’ crusade against corruption to send a clear message that we are not going to tolerate the corruption any more.
