| Woman helps police to nab mobike lifter at GMCH | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 8 : Alertness on the part of a woman today led to the arrest of a motorcycle lifter at the government medical college hospital (GMCH) here. The motorcycle (JK02A/9833) of Banarasi Lal was stolen from near the state board of school education at Rehari here few days back, police sources said.
The mobike was today sighted by Lal's wife Suresh Kumari in the GMCH parking. She tied it to a rope. Sources said when a youth came close to the motorcycle to start it, she raised an alarm as a result of which he was apprehended by police.
The accused was identified as Mukhtiyar Ahmad of Bari Brahmana. Police had booked him under law. |
